Determine which re-pack kit length is needed for your FMF silencer.
POWERCORE 2, SHORTY, SST and TITANIUM 2 silencers (non-spark arrested)
Measure the packable length of your silencer, which is the length of the muffler's shell not including its end-caps. Choose a kit with a length that is the next size longer than your silencer's packable length. These kits will compress up to one inch.
Example- If the packable length (shell length) measures 9.75", use the 10.25" kit.
TURBINECORE 2, Q and TURBINECORE 2 SST silencers (spark arrested)
Measure the packable length of your silencer, which is the length of the muffler's shell not including its end-caps. Subtract 5.5" from this length to account for the spark arrestor assembly. Only the front section of these silencers require repacking.
Example- If the packable length of a TURBINECORE 2 is 14", subtract 5.5" for the spark arrestor. The remaining length is 8.5". In this case, the correct size is the 8.75" long kit.
